Defensive Strategy
Start this mission by talking to a man near the Valley Farmstead Base Camp. He’s up on a higher platform overseeing some repairs. To help him get four Hardwood Branches and four Deer Hides. Collect these from the surrounding areas and then try to hand him the supplies. If you already have the items you can immediately deposit them into the baskets instead of needing to scavenge for them.
He’ll then ask you to take the resources south, to a second tower that they’re fortifying. That tower is in the wilderness, far to the west of the Ruins Encampment. Find the tower and put the items into a large bag underneath the tower.
Return to the Mission giver and get your reward: an outfit (Battle Worn).
Ancient Secrets
This Mission rewards you with Coins and a new outfit if you succeed. To get it, talk to the herbalist at the southern side of the map, near the signal fire. She asks you to recover knowledge from the Tombs.
The nice part of this is that you get rewarded even for Tombs that you’ve already finished (even in other regions). So talk to the herbalist whenever you’re in the area as long as you’ve gotten another Tomb completed.
Once you’ve unlocked the secrets of every Tomb, come back to the herbalist and collect more Coins and the Sacra Umbra outfit.
Surveillance Disruption
A Remnant woman has an Ancient Horn Bow that she’ll trade for your help. You find her deep into the southern valley, in stag deer territory. She’s far south from Valley Farmstead’s Base Camp.
Talk to her by her large home, and agree to help take out drones. There are four of them in the valley. This Mission takes so little time that there is no reason to skip it. The drones are marked on your map, and any damage takes them out of the sky. Destroy all four and get back to the Remnant survivalist to get your reward.
A Hearty Meal
Talk to the woman who gave you Surveillance Disruption again later on. She gives you a second task. This time your reward is a Huntress Outfit.
Your task is to gather four Mushrooms and two pieces of Boar Meat. The Mushrooms are found in Caves all over the valley. Boars are seen close to the house here and by Ruins Encampment. Hunt your prey and return to deal the items when you’re done.
