Area and Encounter Details
Areas 1 and 2 consist of mostly water-based enemies, so bring thunder-based spells if you’re planning on fighting your way through this dungeon. The first area is a small room underwater, with four treasure chests lying about. Be sure to pick up the EXP Boost mirajewel, five hi-ethers, four gold hourglasses, and three water spellstones before you advance to the next area.
Area 2 has ambush points that are totally avoidable if you know where they are (refer to the preceding map for ambush locations). The two chests here contain two loco weeds and two turbo ethers.
In Area 3, there’s an optional adamantoise encounter located at the west end, revealed by completing the puzzle switch and accessed by activating the Sizzle point cannon near the middle of the area. The puzzle switch requires creating a Mirage stack with at least 10 weight and 100 water resistance. After completing the puzzle switch, head to the west side of the map, to the lower deck.
Defeating the adamantoise here can be challenging since it has around 94,000 HP, so prepare with Gravity and ice-based spells. Defeating the adamantoise reveals two treasure chests that contain a mega-ether and a remedy+ (although the mega-ether can be opened without defeating the adamantoise, if you’re sneaky about it). If you haven’t imprismed an adamantoise, or if you have an extra minimantoise prism, you can imprism this one by inflicting Defense 
(trihyde’s Acid Fang or a flan’s Bile). The random encounter with two ahriman stacks can be exceptionally difficult in this area, but you can destroy them with the Death effect.
Area 4 contains a Save Crystal, three x-potions in a chest at the west section, and the boss to the south (the east path takes you to a mimic chest).
Defeating the shivver stack rewards you with Girl’s Diary, Entry 11, along with brrblizz, shivverina, and shivver mementos.
