It All Started with the End of the World
Twin siblings, Lann and Reynn, awaken without their memories.
The only clues they have to who they once were are the mysterious marks on their arms, and they’re quickly informed that these marks allow them to take up the mantle of Mirage Keepers.
As Mirage Keepers, the two can control powerful living illusions of creatures. Reportedly, this won’t be their first go at the whole Keeper gig, either. They once were such powerful Mirage Keepers that they could have ruled the whole world through the combined power of the Mirages they commanded.
But, wait a minute: which world? It turns out that there are several, including one—Nine Wood Hills—that’s been spliced away from all others, as well as from the regular flow of time.
Their mysterious informant, Enna Kros, leads them to a gate to Grymoire. Grymoire is a world filled with the Mirages that Reynn and Lann lost, as well as a world filled with healthy memories of the two—memories that the siblings still lack.
Their mission is stated: if they can recruit as many Mirages as possible, they’ll learn about their past and their family.
Along the way, they’ll meet several allies and enemies, some of who may be familiar to the hands guiding the twins on their journey…
