There are 95 vehicles in L.A. Noire, 15 of these are rare hidden vehicles, which we cover in another section of the guide. However, once you have located a hidden vehicle, it does appear in the Showroom under the Bonus category.
All vehicles are locked in the Showroom from the beginning of the game. To unlock a vehicle, simply enter the vehicle during gameplay and start the engine. We suggest jumping into new vehicles at all of your destinations while working through the story. Look around for nearby parking lots when you stop at a crime scene or a suspect’s home or workplace. If you do this devotedly throughout the story, you should only have a handful of vehicles left to unlock.
For those vehicles that are difficult to find, check out the “location” field in the vehicle stats in this chapter. If you see one of these elusive rides driving down the road, chase it down and use your authority to commandeer that vehicle. Good luck on your vehicle hunt!
