Your notebook opens automatically at the beginning of an interrogation and reveals the questions that arise from the clues you’ve discovered. You can ask the questions in any sequence; there’s no “correct” order.
good cop, bad cop, accuse
After the suspect answers a question, it’s up to you to read facial expressions, body movements, and ticks, as well as listen to the tone of the suspect’s voice, to decide if he or she is telling the truth or if you doubt it. Answering Good Cop and Bad Cop correctly usually leads to the witness sharing a little more information somewhat cooperatively.
If you think the suspect is not being truthful and you actually have evidence to back it up, select Accuse. After the accusation, the suspect will challenge you to prove it. Do this by selecting the correct evidence from your notebook. If you cannot prove your accusation with evidence, you lose your control of the conversation and will not get a positive response that could lead to another clue.
