A 459 (burglary) has occurred at 6th and Ceres, and the suspect is at large—a male Caucasian believed to still be in the area.
Objectives
- Subdue the suspect.

Drive to the crime scene.
Follow the red running man icon to the corner of 6th and Ceres 
. You’ll automatically leave the vehicle and meet a witness at the corner of a building where she has sighted the suspect on a nearby rooftop. He’s armed.
Subdue the suspect.
When the cinematic ends, climb the ladder to the rooftop where the gunman was spotted. Run directly across the width of the roof and quickly slide down the pipe, then climb the fence to your left.
Deadly force.
Run toward Ceres Ave and turn left around the building to chase the suspect along the crowded sidewalk. Avoid running into civilians; the collision slows you down. He veers left through the first gate opening. Follow him through the parking lot and over a brick wall. Now’s your chance! Once you land on your feet, draw your weapon and shoot the fleeing gunman. The warning shot is not an option when a suspect has fired at you. Take him down to complete the case.
Save the hostage.
If the suspect is allowed to reach a certain point, he will take a hostage to use as a human shield.
The trick to completing this challenge is to avoid adjusting your aim at all as the lead-in cinematic ends. During the first instant of the challenge, the gunman puts his head into view to the right (your left) of the hostage’s. As soon as this happens, shoot. The gunman goes down and the case is closed.
