L.A. Noire eGuide Street Crimes Vice

33: Camera Obscura

KGPL calls attention to any unit about a citizen report of suspicious activity on a trolley car on Fountain Ave. The responding unit needs to see a woman about the 288 suspect (lewd conduct) on the Angeleno Heights trolley currently stopped near Fountain and Bronson.

Objectives

  • Pursue the suspect.
  • Apprehend the suspect.

Fail Conditions

  • Phelps or Earle dies.
  • Suspect escapes.

Time Available: 19:00—07:00.

Drive to the crime scene.

When you arrive at Fountain Ave , you find two women on a park bench recovering from a lewd act on the trolley. A pervert with a camera was taking indecent photos of one of them. She quickly identifies him, as he’s caught in the act harassing another innocent passerby on the next corner.

Pursue the suspect.

The suspect then jumps into his vehicle and flees. Chase the pervert as he takes the first left, heading north on Cole St. He cuts a corner and veers left on Ivar Ave. You can either follow him through the park benches or take a less risky route by driving legally through the intersection.

He turns left on Sunset just long enough to veer right through a diner parking lot to reach Cahuenga Blvd. He drives on this road for a city block, then he veers left into a large parking lot. From there, he veers right around the first row of buildings.

The reckless suspect proceeds down Selma Ave and takes a sharp left through a courtyard after passing Seward St. He jumps a row of steps and continues through the Crossroads of the World, turning right onto Sunset Blvd.

Apprehend the suspect.

Next, he swerves right on Orange Drive. The suspect is struck by another vehicle and is then subsequently hit by a speeding trolley car as he attempts to cross Hollywood Blvd. Now pinned between the two vehicles, he has nowhere to run. Jump out of the vehicle and approach him to make the arrest.
