KGPL requests any unit in the vicinity respond to a citizen’s report of a 459 (burglary) in progress at 38 North Catalina.

Drive to the crime scene.
When you arrive at 38 North Catalina Street 
, you discover a burglary attempt in progress. A medium build, middle-aged, white male is trying to break and enter into a residential home. When he spots you approaching, he takes off running and quickly enters his pickup truck to escape.
Pursue the suspect.
The chase begins with the suspect heading north on Catalina. He veers slightly right through the first intersection to cut through a parking lot ahead, then enters an alleyway to the left.
Stay close to the side of his vehicle to give your partner a shot opportunity at the pickup’s tires.
Just through the Oakwood intersection, the suspect veers right through a residential alley, turns left around the first house, and uses the driveway to reach Rosewood where he then turns left. You can choose not to follow him as he takes this route around the house. Instead, try to remain on the same road and join him again as he cuts through the nearby diner parking lot.
Apprehend the suspect.
After circling the corner house, he cuts right through the Joe’s diner lot, steers around the place, and turns left on Mariposa. At this point he usually collides with a large delivery truck; if not, it’s up to Phelps and Biggs to disable the pickup truck. Once the suspect is immoblized, jump out of your vehicle and make the arrest.
