Splatoon Guide › Zone 3

Stage 14: Octoling Assault

This stage should look familiar if you’ve competed in ink battles on Blackbelly Skatepark. Follow the line of Power Eggs leading out of the start point, but watch out for Octolings in the pool section ahead. Instead of diving down into the pool area, remain on the high ground, firing down on the Octolings below. Your height advantage makes it harder for them to target you with their Splat Bombs. Maintain the high ground until this area is clear of Octolings.

Get to this central tower as quickly as possible, even if it means swimming away from Octolings. Ink one of the ramps on the side of the tower and swim to the top, retrieving the armor in the crate. From this high perch you have a commanding view of the entire skatepark, ideal for picking off Octolings scurrying about below. Aim high to arc your ink (and Splat Bombs) great distances.

Swim up to this yellow catwalk overlooking the next pool area. Once again, use the height advantage to fire down on the Octolings below. If you grabbed the Inkzooka, use it to spread your ink across this area, cutting off Octoling escape paths. Be careful not to turn into squid form while on this catwalk—you’ll fall through the mesh. If you need to replenish your ink tank, ink the wall adjacent to the catwalk and swim along the wall. When you can no longer see any Octolings, cautiously cross the pool area and activate the Gusher to reach the Zapfish—if any Octolings remain, you can target them from the Zapfish’s platform.

Sunken Scroll

Before using the Gusher, follow this narrow path to the right to locate the level’s Sunken Scroll.
