While in squid form, jump across these two platforms to reach the other side. The tops of the platforms are already coated in your ink, so there’s no need to stop. While swimming, you can move faster and jump greater distances. If you fall, ink the sides of one of the platforms and swim back to the top—barriers prevent you from swimming up the perimeter walls.
Smash one of the crates here to acquire an Inkzooka special. Use this powerful weapon to wipe out the distant Octocopters and Octotrooper. The Inkzooka fires a tall tornado of your ink, perfect for eliminating these threats. You have unlimited ammo with the Inkzooka for approximately five seconds—so don’t waste too much time aiming. However, each shot fired knocks you back a bit. Be mindful of your footing to avoid getting pushed off the platform or back into a puddle of enemy ink.
Sunken Scroll

The Sunken Scroll is located atop this pillar at the start of the second platform. Swim to the top of the neighboring pillar first. From there, ink the side of the Sunken Scroll’s pillar, then jump across in squid form, landing on the pillar’s side. Swim to the top of the pillar and bust open the crate to retrieve the Sunken Scroll.
Don’t expose yourself to the Octobomber—he throws powerful Splat Bombs. Instead, ink the area around the Octobomber, then swim through your ink to sneak up on him. One of the crates near the center of the platform contains an Inkzooka—grab the Inkzooka, pop out of your ink, and blast the Octobomber before he can respond. The path to the Zapfish is now clear—ink the moving blocks to reach it.
