There is one Splat Zone on Arowana Mall, located in the stage’s center. Toss Suction Bombs on the kiosk in the center to spread ink and take out opponents. As with any stage with only one Splat Zone, the Inkstrike special is particularly powerful, coating the entire zone with ink and eliminating any opponents unlucky enough to be in the weapon’s large blast radius. A well-placed Inkstrike could possibly capture the zone for your team.
Stand on this platform and use a long-range weapon and Splat Bombs to maintain control of the Splat Zone in the center. Ink the platform, then stand on the crate to give your weapon greater range.
These yellow bridges only appear in Splat Zones, providing access to the opposing team’s corridor. Use this path to apply pressure on the enemy, keeping them away from the stage’s center. But remember, your opponents can apply pressure on your team’s corridor too, using the yellow bridge on the opposite side. These bridges make it difficult for snipers to apply pressure on the center as they can be flanked.
Wait until the opposing team has captured the zone, then launch an Inkstrike to help take it back. You may even catch some unfortunate opponents in the large blast.
