As the name implies, many of the paths and walls on this level are invisible. However, you can uncover these hidden features by coating them with your ink. Start by shooting the Balloon Fish here to spread ink over the two invisible paths. But watch out ahead—there’s an Octoling and Octocopter guarding the neighboring platform. Ink the invisible walls to identify points of cover, then use Splat Bombs to take out the enemies.
Sunken Scroll

From the second platform’s launchpad, look down and off the side, and fire ink to discover an invisible platform below. Drop down onto the platform to find the level’s Sunken Scroll, hidden beneath this ramp. 
Take it nice and slow in this area. The invisible path here is extremely narrow, so ink a little bit at a time while inching forward. Be on watch for Octocopters appearing above—deal with these threats as quickly as possible, as you have very little room to maneuver. The Squee-Gs on this path are less of an issue—just move past them as quickly as possible. But watch out for the Octobomber appearing near the end of the path, near the launchpad. The Octobomber’s incoming Splat Bombs are a serious problem, so deal with this threat before he can throw any.
The path to the Zapfish consists of several invisible terraced steps, each occupied by Twintacle Octotroopers. Fortunately, each step has invisible walls you can hide behind. Ink these walls and take cover behind them while tossing Splat Bombs toward the Octotroopers. Alternatively, peek out of cover long enough to fire some ink toward these threats. After clearing all visible threats, enter squid form and jump to the next step. Keep working your way up through this area until you can secure the Zapfish.
