Advance through this area as quickly as possible. The Octostriker on the hovering flying saucer continually attacks with Inkstrikes—these are massive, lethal tornados of purple ink. Keep moving to avoid getting caught up in one of these Inkstrikes. When possible, swim through your ink in squid form to avoid getting spotted by the Octostriker. While avoiding Inkstrikes, be on watch for Octodivers hiding in the purple ink. Grab the armor here before moving on.
Sunken Scroll

After eliminating the Octodiver near the Gusher, smash the crate beneath this yellow bridge to reveal the level’s Sunken Scroll.
Already drenched in purple ink, this area is also home to several Octodivers lurking just beneath the surface. Ink the ground as you move through this area, eliminating Octodivers as you go. Ink coverage is important here because you’ll need somewhere to swim to when Inkstrikes appear. Use Splat Bombs or Seekers to expand ink coverage here, giving you more options for escape.
Pursue the Octostriker around the edge of the flying saucer while splatting Octocopters along the way. The Octocopters continually respawn here, so don’t worry about taking them all out. Instead, focus on inking the perimeter of the flying saucer, then swim through your ink to get close to the Octostriker—he will continue backing up while launching Inkstrikes. When you’re within range, continually pelt the Octostriker with ink until he explodes. If you attack aggressively, you can take him out within a matter of seconds. You can then retrieve the Zapfish from the center of the flying saucer.
