Using Wave Singer and Mesmeralda

Wave Singer’s primary attack does an initial burst of damage and the curse ticks smaller follow-up amounts. The downside of the attack is that it won’t hit anything by “accident.” You must have a target lock in order for it to be effective. If you hit an already cursed vehicle, the initial damage registers again but the curse damage does not double up.

Hands of a Puppeteer’s speed boost doubles as an attack.The hands that appear and swing backward push Wave Singer forward and crush anything they touch. There’s a two to three second delay between uses, so you can’t use this to surge ahead should you get Powered Pods.

Racing Against Wave Singer and Mesmeralda

The hands that emerge with the speed boost hit hard but they don’t extend out much farther than Wave Singer’s sides. You can avoid them by staying a boat’s length away when you’re passing or being passed. The best defense against Cursed Puppet is to check your rear view and duck underwater if you see Mesmeralda behind you.
