You’re still larger than life, and there is an entire hamlet of bad guys below you. The only thing to do is smash ’em all and let the fates sort them out. Collect Gold from the broken buildings and eat any food you need if you take damage.
There is a Wish Stone along the right edge of the cliffs, on a small pier. Take that and then look for the Sky Star Challenge at the summit.
After the challenge is done, you return to the hill where you started. Now, you can see the valley ahead where a powerful creature lies in wait. This should be something amazing to watch.
Battle the Pterashark
The key to defeating the Pterashark is to watch its attack patterns. Once you see how to avoid all of the boss’s moves, it’s a breeze to stay one step ahead of it for the rest of the fight.
The Pterashark burrows into the ground and chases after you. Run and jump to keep your Skylander out of the way until the boss resurfaces.
This foe also spits out a wave of boulders. Get away from it so that you have more time to react. Walk to the side to avoid most of the boulders, and then leap to get over the last few that are still coming in your direction.
The toughest move that the boss has is a triple ground pound. It rises into the air and slams down onto the ground with such intensity that it creates a shockwave. Wait for a moment and then leap over the shockwave; it’s slower than you might expect, so wait for the ideal moment and don’t leap when it lands. Do this three times in a row to avoid all of the damage.
After each series of moves, the Pterashark flops onto the ground and has to rest for a short time. That’s your cue to lay into it with as many damaging attacks as possible. Keep hitting until the boss gets back up, and then you should back off and be defensive again until you see another opening.
There is a food stand on the right side of the arena. Break that and nibble at the food that comes out throughout the fight. Make sure not to eat all of it at once. Only take what you need to get back to full health.
With that knowledge in your hands, this fight should be very doable!
After you win, look for a steam vent on the right side of the arena. Use that to leap onto a plateau high above. Search for an Epic Treasure Chest before you get back down.
To the left of the boss’s arena is another path. Walk down there and push a moveable block against the stone wall ahead of your Skylander. Use that to jump up to the raised area and loot everything you see. A Land Vehicle icon is in front of you, but don’t approach it yet (there is more treasure to grab).
Look for several more moveable blocks that are between two tall pillars on the right. Position the three blocks so that you can hop from the lowest, to the middle, and then to the highest. Move the biggest one to the far left to get a Random Reward Object from that pillars, and then to the far right to get an Epic Treasure Chest.
Now it’s totally fine to go to the Land Vehicle icon. Switch into something powerful and get moving with it.
A Red Toolbox is in the center of the path, on a raised hill during the first third of the driving section. Stay on the lookout for that so that you don’t miss it. Afterward, settle in and have a good time smashing everything on the way to the end.
