Skylanders® SuperChargers eGuide The Adventure Land of the Undead

Chapter 16: Not as Advertised

Rescue Master Eon

Carry the explosive barrel from its ledge and drop it in front of the large gate to open the path into the Land of the Undead. Take note of the timer on the side of the barrel and the trail of orange powder that appears on the ground.

The timer on the side of the barrel indicates how soon the spark begins burning up the trail you left behind. You still have a few seconds before the barrel explodes after the timer empties. If you see orange powder on the ground that you didn’t place, try to walk over it while carrying an explosive barrel. When you do it right, you’ll fire off additional fireworks and get some extra treasure in the process.

Go back for another barrel and carry it off to the side of the ledges ahead. The grate there can be opened with a barrel of explosives. There’s an Epic Treasure Chest and piles of treasure inside the watery cavern.

Head back outside and follow the trail of coins up the ledges. Avoid the red targeting lasers used by the nearby Blaster Casters. These undead creatures have a long-range attack but they’re not the sturdiest of enemies. Get in close and take them out quickly.

Walk past the perspective gate (the ghostly blue portal) on the highest ledge to get the Wish Stone (if you see a monitor instead of a Wish Stone, plant an explosive barrel under the monitor). Return to the perspective gate and step through it for a twisty trip to a nearby platform.

Get used to this top-down view. You’ll be dealing with it during many parts of the Land of the Undead. Grab the treasure and Random Reward Object on this small platform, then head back.

There’s a battle gate across the next bridge. The first enemy you fight is a Spin-Off. Spin-Offs are invulnerable while they are spinning but are dazed when they stop spinning.

Next up are Bonehead Chompies, who carry an extra bit of armor that allows them to take an extra hit before going down. When the last Chompy falls, the gate opens. Walk toward the blue gate ahead to meet an odd old friend, Softpaw.

Go through the gate and clear out the Bonehead Chompies that charge over the bridge and the Blaster Caster near the blue pools. Head up the bridge and use the perspective gate to zip across to a nearby island with treasures and a barrel.

Grab the barrel and hurry back through the gate. After crossing the bridge, detour to the orange line of blasting powder on the ground before setting the barrel in front of the large box marked with the dynamite icon. Open the Epic Treasure Chest after the debris settles.

Return through the perspective gate to the platform where you picked up the explosive barrel. Walk toward the Land Vehicle icon at the back of the platform. The first stretch of the track is wide-open where your only concern is collecting Gearbits.

Enemies appear in small numbers and should be dispatched quickly. Stay on the left side after smashing through the second chained gate. There’s a narrow road suspended on chains that leads to a Red Toolbox. The road ends after you smash down a third chained gate.

The area beyond the third gate is a vehicular battle area. Stay clear of the green searchlights. If they turn red, get away from them quickly. The flying enemies are Bat-omatons who fire red rockets that you need to avoid. Chop Hoppers here are driven by Chompies and latch on to your vehicle. Shake them off before they can cause too much damage.

There’s a Break the Barrel challenge that begins with a jump near the locked gate. The perspective gate sends your vehicle to a nearby platform with an explosive barrel on it. You need to use that barrel to smash the gate blocking the road to the next Chapter.
