With greater practice, you now master another side of your magnetic powers. You can now alternate between pulling things toward you or pushing them away. This is useful during combat. Push enemies out of melee range for more time with your ranged attacks, or pull them closer to destroy them with your short-range attacks.
Try this out against the foes that are waiting on the circle ahead. You can also loot some Gold from the area behind your starting point, if you have the time!
Carefully search before going far from the circle. There are two paths, and both have treasure. The first route on the right leads over a couple of jumps and takes you to an Epic Treasure Chest. Get this, return to the circle, and then take the second route on the right. Shift your magnetic pull to manipulate the bridges that are blocking your way, and then grab the Live Wire Lock from a nearby ledge.
You can beat this lock quickly. Go down through the two spinning cogs and curve slowly around the right edge of the map. Go in between the spinning bumpers (without touching anything), and make sure to grab the first Spark while you’re there.
Press the button on the left side of the bumpers, and then slip into the cog up top. Press its button to spin the cog until you can exit toward the beginning of the area. Go through the newly opened gate to your left. Get the Spark that’s right there, and then wait for the next spinning bumper set to let you move in and get the last Spark. Exit at the bottom of that area and enjoy your experience!
Come back from the Live Wire Lock and claim the Epic Treasure Chest. Take the path up toward the next circle. Alternate your magnetism whenever you’re near a gap to see if you can pull a bridge up for safe crossing. This lets you get to a platform with Gold not much farther up. You can also customize your Skylander there, if you like.
When you’re done, the path on the right is how you proceed. Take that route all the way to its end. You find some money for your effort. Get that and back up a few steps. Pull a bridge over toward your Skylander and cross it.
The next series of bridges has a Wish Stone on the far right. Get that, and then use your push power to turn the bridge on the left. This lets you get to a Sky Challenge (on the right), or move toward the end of the chapter, on the left.
Get into one of your Sky Vehicles and try out the challenge.
After you complete the Sky Star Challenge, you can play a game of Skystones Overdrive against the player here. Fight through small groups of enemies on your way to the next large circle. Practice pushing and pulling them off of ledges. This is a fast way to defeat your targets, and it’s pretty funny to watch.
From that circle, take the ledges and bridge on the right to get to another Wish Stone. On the left is a long path of ledges that leads over to an Epic Treasure Chest. Get both of these before moving on.
From the Wish Stone’s ledge, switch your magnetism around to pull the bridge to the side. Cross it to approach the final section of the area. You unlock the next door in a similar way to the bridge you extended at the end of the last chapter. Use your magnet to pull three objects through their grooves and into their receptacles. When all three are locked in place, the door opens, revealing a vehicle transition.
Get into a land vehicle and drive through a course with plenty of Gearbits and nothing to stand in your way (except for a gigantic number of mines). As with the flying course, shift your magnet so that you pull Gearbits to your vehicle and push mines away from it.
The course ends at another big door. You need to hit six Chimes to open it, but you need to use a suspended knocker to do it. Pull the knocker toward your vehicle and then push it away after it starts to shift its momentum in the other direction; it’s just like pushing someone on a swing. Wait until they’re on the downswing and then push hard.
Reposition your vehicle after you hit the first couple of Chimes and push it from the sides to hit the other Chimes, ending the chapter.
