While on a secret mission in troll territory, Astroblast crash landed on a remote island where he stumbled upon an ancient relic not seen in thousands of years—a legendary Rift Engine. These magical machines were believed to have the power to travel through the portals between Skylands and other worlds! Shortly after the discovery, an army of trolls appeared on a nearby canyon ridge and quickly charged toward Astroblast. Knowing that the Rift Engine would be very dangerous in the wrong hands, he pulled out his pulse laser and prepared to defend the relic against the incoming horde. After an epic shootout, the trolls fled in defeat. When Astroblast then brought the relic back to his ship, the Sun Runner, it surged with power and a hologram of Master Eon appeared. Eon thanked him for saving the Rift Engine and beckoned him to return it to the Skylander Academy. Astroblast accepted the invitation and was made a Skylander shortly thereafter.

SuperCharged Challenge: A Guiding Light

Collect light bulbs to push darkness away until the end of the race.

StarTime GoalReward
First 6:00.00 +25 Gearbits
Second 5:00.00 +1 Wish Stone
Third 4:45.00 +1 Special Item

You must keep the light meter on the right side of the screen from being emptied while completing three laps around Clock Rock. If you don’t like watching the meter, the screen itself darkens as the meter empties. Touching the light bulbs in the track adds light to the meter. Smaller light bulbs add a little light to the meter while the large light bulbs fill half the meter.

Keeping Sun Runner steady through the lines of light bulbs is the key to completing this challenge, but you’ll need to run each lap in 1:35 or less to get all three stars. Choose mods for Sun Runner that boost Handling until you get the light bulb pattern down, then switch to all Top Speed.

Overview

If you’re a Life Skylander, Astroblast will become your best friend when he unlocks Solar Field. Beyond the adoration of Stealth Elf and Thillipede, Astroblast excels as a ranged fighter. His single melee attack, Starsault, is designed to push away enemies and it upgrades to call down sheep-inhabited rocks from the sky (and even the sheep have laser guns!). Choose the Cosmic Technology path to increase overall damage output, or the Nova Hopper path for the ultimate back-up plan for the times when things take a turn for the worse.
