Take the right-hand fork from the starting point and clean up the piles of treasure before following the main path toward Cora and the Sea Star Challenge.
If you have enough Gold to buy upgrades, look for Persephone immediately after you clear out a horde of Bonehead Chompies guarding the path to a perspective gate.
The trip through the perspective gate ends with a top-down fight against Spot Bites, Blaster Casters, and Bonehead Chompies.
The spike traps here don’t follow the typical pattern of popping up and settling down. Instead, the cycle is clear path, spikes pop up, spikes shoot out.
After zipping through the next perspective gate, there are three paths available to you. First, walk over the spike traps nearest the gate toward the Random Reward Object.
Return to the perspective gate and clear the debris blocking the bridge. Cross the bridge and take out the Spot Bite at the top of the stone stairs. You must solve a Live Wire Lock to get the Epic Treasure Chest here.
Roll over the red button directly behind the gremlin to drop the nearby gate. The electric arcs move back and forth to block the path. The gremlin doesn’t take any damage from touching the arcs, but they do slow him down. Grab the first spark (which presses a second button that drops the gate on the opposite side) and return to the starting point. Avoid the sliding bumpers and conveyor belts while collecting the spark attached to the sliding bumper in the middle of the map. Get the last spark in the same way as the first, then avoid the electric bumpers around the ignition key to open the lock.
Note the fireworks here, then follow the trail of coins around the curved path. Go through the perspective gate and pick up the explosive barrel. Moneybone’s forces appear when you pick up the barrel, so you may need a second trip to ignite all the fireworks near the locked gate.
Take another explosive barrel back to the earlier fireworks (through the perspective gate) if you are so inclined. There’s a Land Vehicle icon on the other side of the last gate you destroyed. Next up, you meet Count Moneybone in vehicular combat.
