There are two hazards to watch out while walking the grounds of the Temple of the Cloudbreather. Red circles on the ground indicate where plungers fired by Kaos’ fleet are about to strike. The mines on the deck slide as the temple sways from side to side.
The right-hand side of the deck (as you face it from your entry point) has been split. To collect all the treasure and food on the right, you must brave the sliding mines.
There’s an Epic Treasure Chest on the left-hand side of the ship. You must solve a Live Wire Lock to open it. The sliding bumpers are much heavier than the gremlin. They don’t kick him away like the electrified ones but he needs to get away quickly or they’ll push him over an edge. Use the conveyor belts at the top to hop over the gaps. Hug the walls when passing the heavy bumpers on the way to the spark and the key. That way they push the gremlin into the wall instead of over the edge.
Run up the center ramp and hop on the platform floating in the water. There’s a Random Reward Object nearby but you must destroy a wooden barricade to allow the floating platform to reach it. Ride the platform to the opposite side and hop off near Chicha and the Sky Star Challenge.
When you return to the temple, jump on the floating platform near Chicha and ride it over the water. Deal with the Twilight Twister, Witch Pitcher, and sliding mines to reach the back half of the temple.
Ride the floating platform to the SuperCharger Gate at the opposite side of the area. Drop down the ledge near the Gate to collect the treasure, then reassemble the Gate to activate it.
Go through the Gate to meet Pacha, who explains the danger posed by the Drow. You must navigate the enemies and hazards to reach the Drow threatening the Gust Gears near another Gate. Mines appear in some of the waterwheel paddles, so be careful while jumping between them.
You must defeat waves of Drow, including Witch Pitchers, Twilight Twisters, and Pint-Sized Prodders to eliminate their threat. As an added bonus, you also unlock an Epic Treasure Chest. Go through either Gate to return to the Temple.
Ride the floating platform and jump off at the trail of coins leading up the stairs. Smash the barricades to join the two halves of the circle gong. Use the gong to open the gate and begin the battle against the Rush Crusher, who holds one of the keys needed to free the Cloudbreather.
Watch out when Rush Crusher gets into a three-point stance. He’s about to charge forward while leading with his blade-arm. Dodge the attack and strike back while he’s in his three-point stance. Additional Drow appear in waves. Weather the storm until a Twilight Twister appears with the second key. Use the second key to free the Cloudbreather.
