To the right is a free pile of treasure and a small cave. Look in the cave for additional goodies, and you can customize your Skylander while you’re there, if you have a bunch of spare cash burning a hole in your pocket.
At the top of the cave is a Live Wire Lock! Move the Gremlin into the gear on your left and move to that side of the screen to get the first Spark. Return, using the cogs, but stop to press the button in the middle of the screen. Once it’s red, the gear on your right changes direction. This allows you to ride it to the upper section of the map.
From here, you get the second Spark and can very easily ride more cogs to get the third Spark and then reach the end of the challenge.
Get your prize and then go back outside. Follow the path up a few bouncy mushrooms, and fight the variety of insects over the next jump. It’s a pitched battle, but none of the enemies are especially tough by themselves.
Look on the lower tier of the area after your fight ends. Break the Star below for a wealth of gold coins. There is also a Random Reward Object down by the water. You get even more goodies if you continue to the right and search for a cave entrance; it’s along a tall cliff. Go inside and play Skystones Overdrive and search the cave for a Random Reward Object. Collect everything you can and then leave.
Go along the waterfront to the left and get into a Sea Vehicle.
Next, go hunting for an Epic Treasure Chest that is on a tall pillar to the right. Use the bouncing mushrooms to get up to it.
Keep going to the right, and look for a path that takes you to a SuperCharger Gate. Go through it and do some quick fighting to earn a Wish Stone (on the left side of the new region), and then an Epic Treasure Chest at the end. You need to finish a big fight to unlock that one, so keep one of your tougher Skylanders at the ready before going into the portal.
A second portal takes you back to where you were in the main section of the map. Get back to the central path and search for a third Epic Treasure Chest on the ledges above you. It doesn’t have more than a guard or two, so it’s easy pickings. Bounce off of mushrooms to the left to get up really high. One more Epic Treasure Chest is there too.
You’re almost at the top of the map. Keep pushing up and fight through to the Land Vehicle transition at the end of the area. Get into your craft and run a simple race while collecting Gearbits.
Afterward, you land in an arena and have to fight a mighty Bee Boss to earn a Red Toolbox.
Beat the Bee
The boss here has high health and plenty of buzzing minions. There are buffs above the ramps on the right, but wait to get those until later in the battle when you really need them. At first, stay at medium range and lay into the boss with your weapons. His damage output isn’t very high, so it’s the sustained nature of the fight that threatens you.
Once you beat the boss, collect its reward, and then finish off any bees left in the arena to unlock the gate. Drive to the exit and disembark into the next chapter.
