Skylanders® SuperChargers eGuide The Adventure The Rift to Skylands

Chapter 3: A Fuel's Errand

Leave the Pit Crew and drop down the crates to reach an area with a random Elemental affinity. Watch out for red rings on the ground. They mark the spots where the Electroclops are throwing their electrified mines. They’re out of reach for now, but you’ll get to them soon.

There’s a Random Reward Object and piles of coins on the lowest crate down from the starting point. Look for a Wish Stone floating above the higher crates on the left. You may need to ride the moving crate a short distance to reach it.

Jump up to the crate with the Electroclops and take them out. They don’t have much health but you still need to watch out for the red rings that indicate where they’re throwing their mines.

With the Electroclops out of the way, speak with James Prong to learn about the Sea Star Challenge. If you lack a Sea Vehicle, walk beside James Prong until a hatch opens. It creates a path that skips the Destroy the Catalytic Cyclotron challenge.

Escape through the Outtake Valve

Go into the outtake valve and dive down to a long pipe. Steer around and dive under the spikey pipes. Stay underwater and watch the left side for a Red Toolbox. The channel ends at a fiery booster that launches your vehicle to a calm area.

Disembark at the small platform in the middle of the water for a Random Reward Object. Explore the area and shoot everything that comes up as a target to reveal Gearbits. There’s another Red Toolbox in the back of a large pipe at one end of the room. Disembark at the main platform, which is not far from where the pipe near James Prong drops off Skylanders who didn’t use a Sea Vehicle.

Look for a pipe emanating yellow light. Jump up to the lip of the pipe and drop down inside it. The room is filled with treasure, including an Epic Treasure Chest. The Mabu in the room is named Aimee and she’s a Skystones Overdrive player. Her Vehicle Skystone is a Greeble that does one damage to two opponent characters. When you defeat her the first time, she hands over a Toxic Tushie Skystone.

Use the Bounce Pad to get to the top of the cage, and the one atop the cage to return to the upper area. Walk up the ramps and over to the cyclinder that has coins leading down into the water. Walk toward the coins to turn the cylinder and reveal a Wish Stone.

Leave the cylinder and walk to the right. Glowing Chompies emerge from a pipe. They’re regular Chompies, but they’ve been doused by the orange liquid. Continue past the Chompies for a short series of battles against Electroclops, Shifty Sticklers, and Chompies. To get your Skylander to glow orange (which makes all attacks crit), walk through the downpour of orange liquid when it appears.

Ignore the Live Wire Lock for now. Follow the line of coins to a large pipe opening. The room at the other end of the pipe has piles of treasure and an Epic Treasure Chest!

Return to the Live Wire Lock. To get all three sparks, drive over the red button to change it to green. Go through the now-revolving barricade to reach the first spark. Collect the other two on the way to the key. Solving the Live Wire Lock sends the elevator upward.
