Using Glitter Glider and Golden Queen
Your goal in competitive races is to pick up as many Ammo Pods as possible so you can put Glitter Shield to use. Unlike other speed boosts, Glitter Shield lasts as long as you hold down Attack 3 and Golden Queen has Ammo Bar to spare. When you pick up Powered Pods, Attack 3 should be down until the power up fades.
Golden Scarab is a serviceable missile attack but outside of picking off someone ahead of you with low health, you’re better off saving Ammo Bar for Glitter Shield. Fortunately using Glitter Shield locks out Golden Scarab, otherwise fistfights might break out over who gets to use Golden Queen.
Racing Against Glitter Glider and Golden Queen
Keep Golden Queen from collecting Ammo Pods! Glitter Glider isn’t quick and doesn’t handle all that well but when you have one ability that makes you go faster and resist attacks at the same time, it doesn’t matter so much. Deny Glitter Glider access to that ability and you’re halfway to winning.
