Using Reef Ripper
Racing sea vehicles usually requires some adjustments for slipping and sliding while turning. Reef Ripper handles almost like a land vehicle on a slick surface and it may take a few races to adjust to that.
Ocean Upheaval makes life tough for racers immediately ahead of Reef Ripper. It doesn’t inflict notable damage, but having an attack that follows targets is huge. Electrify the Tail keeps heavier vehicles honest. They can’t push you around in Reef Ripper when they need to worry about electricity frying them.
Racing Against Reef Ripper
When you’re up against Reef Ripper, lean on your vehicle’s strengths. Reef Ripper is so balanced, there’s no obvious weakness to exploit. You’re safe in a chase position as long as you don’t get close enough to get nailed by Electrify the Tail.
