Chapter 39: Win, Lose or Glumshanks — Skylanders® SuperChargers eGuide

This event takes place in a massive arena, but you have some time before everything kicks off. Use that to explore and talk to your friends throughout the region. On the far left side of the map is a SuperCharger Gate; take that into a bonus area.

Gold is everywhere in the bonus area. Grab everything that isn’t nailed down, and use the bouncers to the right to reach a set of cliffs where you find a Wish Stone.

Come back when you’re done searching the cliffs, and fight a Skystones Overdrive match to open the first gate. It opens as soon as you win, letting you access another Wish Stone, and a bouncer on the upper-left with even more cash.

Collect the goodies and then take on a second Skystones Overdrive match. A new gate opens, and you face a third (and final) match. Beat your opponent, and then go through the next gate to see what rewards you’ve earned. An Epic Treasure Chest is very close by; open it and enjoy!

Return to the entrance Gate, and take that back to the arena. Look for a Live Wire Lock inside a building that’s close to the Gate. Solving that gets you the other major reward in this level, so do that now to make sure that you don’t miss anything.

To beat this lock, take your little gremlin to the right and press a button. This unlocks a rotating cog below you. Take that to the lower-right to get the first Spark.

Cross the bottom of the screen to get another Spark, and use the button to start the rotation on the upper cog (this allows you to reach the exit later on. Ride the lower-left cog to snag the final Spark and then jump off the map to quickly spawn back at the beginning. You’re right next to the exit that way. Leave to get your reward!

Break into the building with the Live Wire Lock and collect the Epic Treasure Chest, and then use the small ledges on the right side of the map to look for a Random Reward Object. It’s on top of the buildings, so you have to hop up the ledges and walk on the rooftops to reach it.

You have everything you need now. Customize your vehicle and your Skylander as you see fit, and take a land vehicle into the arena.

Defeat the Enemies

You have to beat several waves of opponents in the arena. Though the early waves have light targets, their combined damage is still rather fierce. To stay ahead of things, use the buffs that periodically appear on the left and right sides of the map. They’re suspended over small ramps, so ride up the ramps to get what you need.

Your early opponents are members of the Chew Through Crew. Attacks that hit entire areas work well because there are so many things to attack.

After those guys go down you’re showered with goodies. Get as much Gold and Gearbits as you can, and look for items to restore your vehicle’s health.

Next, the Dread Roller attacks. This mini-boss has low health (in comparison to most bosses), but it does very heavy damage if you make any mistakes. Grab any buffs that are in the arena and take on the enemy vehicle while you have that advantage.

Dodge the Dread Roller’s main laser and then pull around for an extended attack of your own. It won’t take long to win as long as your health doesn’t give out.

You got a break outside of the arena, and when you return you get to fight Turbo Teeth. This mini-boss has its own arena with a large pit in the center, and an upper ledge with multiple buffs to steal. As with the last big fight, you need to control those buffs and make the most out of them. A couple of them are on the ledges, and one is suspended over the pit. Drive off of a small ramp to get that one while you fall.

Turbo Teeth doesn’t turn very well, and that’s a huge weakness to exploit. Try to maneuver behind the mini-boss and then slowly drive after it, firing the whole time. This does substantial damage while your enemy attempts to recover.

Take another quick break, and then return to the arena for the grand finale.

Wreck O’ Saurus is your last opponent in the event. This one has high health, high damage, and becomes invulnerable now and then.

If he shines a laser beam in your direction, move quickly to avoid the charge that’s coming your way. He drops quite a few explosives around the arena. These cannot be destroyed with gunfire, so you have to avoid them by driving carefully.

When he becomes invulnerable, drive onto the ramps at the top of the map. Plowing into Wreck O’ Saurus from behind disrupts his invulnerability, allowing you to get back into the fight quickly.

Shield Regen buffs appear fairly often during this fight. Use them as often as you can to maintain your vehicle’s armor.

Finish the battle to get your star and to complete the Ridepocalypse tournament!
