Double Dare Trigger Happy

Vehicle: Gold Rusher

Starting Stats
Maximum Health 300
Speed 50
Armor 18
Critical Hit 6
Elemental Power 25

Trigger Happy is more than his name—it’s his solution to every problem. Nobody knows from where he came. He just showed up one day in a small village, saving it from a group of terrorizing bandits by blasting gold coins everywhere with his custom crafted shooters. Similar tales were soon heard from other villages, and his legend quickly grew. Now everyone in all of Skylands knows of the crazy goldslinger that will take down any bad guy…usually without bothering to aim.

SuperCharged Challenge: Crazy on Fireworks

Collect orbs and shoot boxes to create as many fireworks as possible by the end of the race. Use gates to get a score multiplier.

StarPoints GoalReward
First 100,000 +25 Gearbits
Second 225,000 +1 Wish Stone
Third 425,000 +1 Special Item

Red, yellow, and green orbs line the roadways of The After Party. Special gates and boxes of fireworks are sprinkled around as well. Drive through the orbs and shoot the boxes to earn points. Drive through the boost gates to increase your multiplier, up to a maximum of 10X. There’s no timer: you just run three laps and score as many points as you can.

Relative to many other challenges, Trigger Happy has quite a bit going on. You must run through the orbs while watching for gates to drive through to increase your multiplier. You also need to watch for fireworks crates, which must be shot (and you don’t have Powered Pods to help out). Running through gates and destroying fireworks are worth ten times the points earned picking up orbs.

Overview

Trigger Happy’s two basic attacks complement each other perfectly. Use Fire Cracker to damage enemies at a safe range. If any of them manage to get too close, use Crowd-Pleaser to briefly stun them and slip away or use Breaking Cannon to escape and cause damage at the same time. Get He’s Safe! as soon as you can. Not many Skylanders come with two lives per level. Go with the Spontaneous Performer path if you like causing havoc with fire rings. The Made for the Spotlight path allows you to attack enemies while remaining safely in the air, as well as becoming lazy about pulling in valuables.
