Rescue Paul Kirby
Alan and the Kirby family make it to a boat. However, the Spinosaurus finds them and attacks. While most of the group make it to shore, Paul Kirby is stuck on some floating wreckage. At the start, you can only control Alan. Fight off some Compys, and then dig up some bricks from a large pile of dirt.
Assemble the bricks into a flare cannon and climb onto it to take control.
An orange arrow indicates a barrel, which is your target. Aim and fire a flare at the barrel to make it explode. The flames keep Spinosaurus away from Paul for a moment.
Take control of Paul. Jump from one piece of floating wreckage to another to get to the dock on the right. However, you are not safe yet.
Climb the ladder and move around the walkway to the right. Use Paul’s grappling hook to pull on the orange attachment and release some more barrels into the water.
Switch to Alan and fire the flare cannon at the floating barrel. This creates some more flames and breaks up part of the building on the dock.
As Paul, assemble the pieces from the building into a bouncer. Use it to access a higher part of the building where a crane is located. Climb into the crane and move it to the left to grab a large explosive barrel, which is then maneuvered near the Spinosaurus.
Switch to Alan and fire a flare from the cannon at the hanging barrel. It explodes and completes the wall of flames to prevent the Spinosaurus from getting Paul or the other group members. This completes the level as well as the movie.
Challenges
Minikit
After building the flare cannon, use it to hit each of the four yellow buoys floating in the water. Once this is done, the Minikit appears in the water near Paul. Pick it up to add it to your collection.
Fossil Piece A
Destroy all the objects on the beach to find a small brick. Select a character with the tracking ability and follow the prints around the beach to get the fossil piece.
Fossil Piece B
When on the dock, switch to a female character with the Agility ability. Jump to the highest part of the building and destroy a crate. It releases a crab that crawls around and then goes off the edge into the sea, leaving behind a fossil.
