The Long Grass

MINIKIT: Tracking the Backpack

Switch to a tracker like Robert Muldoon right away and pick up the backpack just to the left of the start. Follow the tracks until you unearth build-it parts. Assemble them into a Minikit!

MINIKIT: Dig Spot

Look for the loose dirt just past the weeds mowed down by the lawnmower you built. Switch to Alan Grant and dig up build-it bone pieces; then bone-build them into a grappling catapult. Turn its red crank handle to shoot it and then reel in the Minikit.

MINIKIT: Scatter the Compys

Find the small clearing on the near side where Compys swarm around some Minikit build-it pieces. Switch to Eric Kirby and toss a bottle of T. rex scent at the swarm. When the Compys run off, build and collect the Minikit.

MINIKIT: Dilophosaurus Spit

A shimmering black LEGO mound sits to the left of the crate that Nick Van Owen opens with bolt cutters to release Compys. Switch to a Dilophosaurus and spit repeatedly at the mound, melting it down until you can grab the Minikit sealed inside.

MINIKIT: Mushroom Scent

In the clearing with the abandoned truck, smash the mushrooms to reveal a yellow scent mist. Use a raptor to track the scent down a narrow trail through the grass to a picnic spot. Smash up the carton of foodstuffs and assemble the build-it pieces into a Minikit.

MINIKIT: Dark Cave

Send a vine-cutter like Alan Grant or Owen Grady to slice through the wall of vines just in front of the abandoned truck. Switch to Nick Van Owen and use his crowbar to tear apart the boulders. Finally, switch to a character with the Illumination ability like Ian Malcolm to enter the dark cave and grab the Minikit inside.
