Gold Brick Challenges

Look for Signs of Survivors

Paul and Amanda Kirby have come to Isla Sorna to find their son. Their party is looking for evidence that he is still alive. Start by taking control of Udesky and using his rifle to shoot the target in a tree. Assemble the bricks that fall into a bar on the tree.

Switch to Amanda and jump to the second bar. Then leap across to a vine and swing to a platform. Walk along the branch to get to a larger platform where luggage is caught in a net. Hit a branch to release a vine so the other characters can climb to this platform. Now take control of Alan and cut the rope to release the luggage.

Break the luggage and switch to Udesky. Use one of the bricks from the luggage to start tracking. This leads to a pile of bones. Use Alan to assemble the bones into a bouncy pad; then use it to get to another platform in a tree.

Break a rock on the platform and use the pieces to assemble a crawl wall. Use Billy Brennan to climb this wall. On a higher platform, pick up a parasail. Now use it to glide to another platform on the right. To do this, jump off the platform’s right side and then press the Jump button again to use the parasail.

Push an airplane engine along a checkered path to the ground below. Assemble the pieces to create a fan that can blow characters up to the platform. Get Paul to the platform and use his grappling hook to pull bricks from the tree to reveal another crawl wall.

As Billy, climb the crawl wall and then glide across a chasm with the parasail. On the other side, break objects and then assemble bricks to form a lever. Push the lever’s green side to lower an airplane wing that the other characters can use a bridge.

Alan must cut through some vines with his raptor claw. Then continue through a hollow log to a clearing on the other side. Use Paul’s grappling hook to pull an orange attachment. This opens a tree where a life preserver can be found. Switch to Udesky and track a trail to some bricks. Assemble them into a movie projector to compete the level.

Challenges

Minikit

Find the blue target above the spot where you build the fan on the side of the large tree platform. Use a character with an electric rifle to hit the target and release the Minikit.

Fossil Piece A

In the level’s final area, a small door is in the side of a tree. Select a small character to crawl through and access a small platform up in the tree. Find the fossil piece here, as well as unlock Ben Hildebrand.

Fossil Piece B

This fossil piece is awarded for shooting three nests with Udesky’s rifle (or with projectiles from another character). The first nest is above the first tree platform. The second nest is above the tree platform near the chasm where Billy has to parasail. The final nest is in a tree near the level’s end. Just look for the targets.

Hub Visit After completing this level, you return to the hub area. Take control of Billy Brennan and move to the right toward a chasm. Glide across to the narrow structure using his parasail. Break some objects and use the pieces to assemble a small bridge for other characters to use. Bring Alan Grant across to hack away at some vines with his raptor claw. Then continue to the second level access terminal to begin the next level.
