Gold Brick Challenges

Rescue Ian

As this level begins, Ian Malcolm is dangling from a rope as half of the mobile lab is hanging over a cliff. Start moving up the rope. You can move right or left to avoid falling objects; however, when you see a string of studs falling, move toward it. The first few are silver. They are followed by gold studs, and then a final blue stud. To complete the True Survivor challenge, you must get these studs and avoid getting hit (since getting hit causes you to lose studs).

After climbing a bit, the lab starts to fall over the cliff. Switch to Eddie Carr on solid ground. Grab a hook under the mobile lab, and use it to track a pile of bricks. Assemble them into a winch on the lab. Then move to the truck and grab the tow cable. Pull it until it connects with the winch on the lab.

Now hop into the truck. You must keep the truck centered in the meter on the screen. Move left and right. When it is in the blue area, you are pulling the mobile lab off the cliff. Keep doing this until the front half of the lab is back on the ground.

Switch back to Ian and begin climbing some more. Watch for falling obstacles. Keep going until the mobile lab begins to fall over the cliff again; then take control of Eddie. The winch on the truck is busted. Before fixing it, defeat several Compys that attack. Once they are cleared out, fix the winch. Climb back into the truck and steer left and right to keep it centered while pulling on the lab again. Finally, switch back to Ian and climb to the rope’s top to complete the level.

Challenges

Minikit

The Minikit is at the top of the rope climb in the mobile lab. As Ian gets near the top, look for the Minikit on the left side. Lean to the left to grab it.

Fossil Piece A

The first fossil piece is on top of the mobile lab. Go to the pink jump circle with a character who has a th Agility ability and jump to the first handhold. Then jump to the second handhold, and then onto the roof. Along with the fossil piece, Carlos is unlocked.

Fossil Piece B

Look for a dig spot near the truck. Select a character with this ability and dig up this fossil piece for your collection.

Hub Visit After completing the Mobile Lab level, you can access the second part of The Lost World: Jurassic Park hub. From the first level access terminal, walk to the right, past the large boulders which are now broken up. Continue until you get to some crates near a stream. In order to get the second level access terminal, you must set up a camp. Break the crates and assemble them into a tent. Select a character who can rummage in droppings and search the large pile to the tent’s right. Inside, find a pile of bricks. Assemble them into a cot and the camp is complete. You can now access the next three levels.
