Gold Brick Challenges

Get Through the Jungle

Three different characters are accessible for this level—and you need the abilities of each to find Sarah. While crossing the stream, you’re attacked by little Compys. Use the Attack button to defeat them. Each takes a few hits. Take control of Nick Van Owen and use his crowbar to pull apart a rock to the stream’s right.

A small cave is revealed. Switch to Ian Malcolm, who carries a flare, and walk into the cave to illuminate it. Inside, find a bouncy mushroom. Jump on it to bounce through a hole to a higher area. Break some objects near a tree, and then assemble the bricks to lower a vine. Now the second character can access the higher area.

Continue to the right. Jump and grab onto a vine hanging from a tree to pull it down. While still holding on, switch to the other character and walk up the tree to reach the top of a ledge. Then hit a rolled-up ladder on the edge to lower it. Now the other character can follow along.

Take a Picture

Move to the right and fight off the Compys. They are coming out of a small hole in the side of a short ledge. While continuing to deal with the Compys, break a rock into pieces and reassemble it to block the hole. Switch to Eddie Carr and shoot the target. Assemble the bricks that fall to make a wood chopper. Jump up and down on the platform to make the chopper cut some wood. Grab the small object left behind and use it to follow some prints. The prints lead to bricks that can be assembled into a bouncy platform. Jump on it to grab onto a bar and pull some logs down. Use the logs as steps to get to the top of a ledge.

Switch to Nick Van Owen and progress to the left. As you approach a stream, more Compys attack. Defeat the Compys, and then use Nick’s crowbar to break open a rock to make a step.

Use the step to jump onto a larger rock. Move to the photo icon on the rock and press the Action button to take a photograph of a couple Stegosauruses. Once this is accomplished, you find Sarah…or perhaps Sarah finds you.

Challenges

Red Brick

At the spot where you pull a vine to lower the tree, select the Dilophosaurus. Use its ability to spit venom at the green glowing rock. After a few times, the venom eats through the rock and exposes the Red Brick. Once unlocked, you can purchase it at the shop to use the Stud Magnet ability. In addition to the Red Brick, Paul Bowman is also unlocked.

Fossil Piece A

A dig spot is near the level’s end, before you get to the stream. Switch to a character who can dig to find a backpack. Then switch to Eddie Carr and follow the footprints to the fossil piece. As a bonus, Deirdre Bowman is also unlocked.

Fossil Piece B

In order to get the second fossil piece, you must rummage through three large piles of dino droppings. One pile is near the start and the other two are on the path that leads to the stream at the level’s end. The fossil is found after droppings diving in the third pile. Cathy Bowman is also unlocked.
