Escape from the Raptors

When the power was shut down at Jurassic Park, the raptors escaped from their enclosure. Now you have to move out in the open to get to safety. Make your way to the right, destroying objects as you go to collect studs. When you get to a ridge, break a plant. Using Robert Muldoon, pick up a brick and begin tracking some prints which lead to a small plant.

Switch to Ellie Sattler and water the plant to make it grow a long vine with flowers. The flowers have bar-like parts. Ellie can jump to the bar on the right and then swing around from one bar to another to get to the ridge’s top on the right. Once there, break some plants to find another small plant to water. The resulting flower allows Robert to jump onto the ridge as well.

Continue to the right and up a ramp. Shoot at a target and a vine drops. Jump across to the hanging vine. Swing back and forth until you can jump onto another ridge to the right. Watch for a raptor hiding in a bush. If you get too close, it jumps out and grabs you. Press the onscreen buttons to hit it and force it to release you.

As you make your way to the right, look for a large droppings pile. Use Ellie to rummage through it for a pile of bricks. Assemble those bricks into a narrow bridge that allows you to get to another ridge on the right. Another raptor is hiding in the bushes, so be ready with those button presses.

Where is the Raptor Hiding?

Continue to the right, and then down a path that leads further into the jungle. Once at a lower clearing, Robert can pick up a raptor claw and begin following some tracks. As you get to the trail’s end, a raptor attacks. Press the correct buttons shown onscreen to fight it off.

The raptor runs back to hide. It moves between three different bushes. Watch carefully as each bush is rustled. The last bush to rustle is where the raptor is located. Use Robert’s rifle and take aim at the bush to hit the raptor and cause some damage. If you shoot the wrong bush, the raptor takes the chance to attack again. You must hit the raptor three times in order to defeat it and complete the level.

Challenges

Red Brick

When you get to the hanging vine where you have to swing across to a ridge, look nearby for a dig spot. Select a character with the dig ability and go to work on the spot to find a Red Brick. Once you purchase it at the store, you can use it to quickly build things.

Fossil Piece A

Four bird nests are along the path through the jungle. Each is marked with a target. Use Robert’s rifle to shoot each nest. After shooting the fourth target, a fossil piece drops to the ground.

Fossil Piece B

The second fossil piece is near the level’s end. Before heading down the path to the final fight with the raptor, you find several vines. Switch to a character with a raptor claw or knife and slice through the vines to find the fossil piece.
