Gold Brick Challenges

Find the Raptor Claw

Move to the right and break a couple of crates to create two brick piles. Use these piles to assemble a vehicle. Once it’s complete, climb aboard and drive it around. The vehicle reveals some buried artifacts.

Use Alan Grant and his trowel to dig in this spot to reveal a pile of bones. Since Alan is a paleontologist, he can rebuild bone piles. Once he assembles the skeleton of a Velociraptor, he picks up one of its sharp claws, which he can then use as a tool.

Move back to the left near the level’s beginning. Use Alan’s raptor claw to cut through the rope. This releases a couple of wooden crates that drop to the lower level.

Find the Buried Skeleton

Switch to Ellie Sattler. Since she is agile, she can jump really high. Jump onto the small crate and continue onto the larger crate. From there, use Ellie’s Agility ability to reach the top of the ledge. Move to the left and break a crate into a brick pile. Assemble the bricks into a ladder so Alan can get to the top of the ledge as well.

Take control of Alan and use the raptor claw to cut through the vines that block the way to the ledge’s right side.

Then break several objects in the clearing to the right to find a wheel and a handlebar. Pick them up and attach them to a vehicle. Climb onto the vehicle and bounce it around, breaking up the three areas of loose stone to reveal a buried dinosaur skeleton.

Get to the Trailer

Someone has arrived at the dig site in a helicopter. You need to get to the trailer and meet this person. Switch to Ellie and jump to grab onto the back of a truck on a higher ledge. This pulls down a pile of bones. You need Alan now to assemble the bones into a skeleton. However, this skeleton is not just for looks—you can also use it for bouncing high. Jump onto the skeleton and it bounces you to the top of the ledge. Now head into the trailer to meet your mysterious visitor.

Challenges

Amber Brick

Once you get to the highest ridge, go through the blue tent’s small doorway (you must use a small character for this). This takes you to an area on the helicopter’s other side. Destroy a crate and build the front of a vehicle. Climb on and drive it around to find the Amber Brick. It unlocks the Velociraptor and Cheryl Logan.

Fossil Piece A

You must break three rocks and then use the bricks to make sand castles. The first rock is located on the middle ledge. The second is on the highest ledge near the trailer. The third is on the third ridge to the helicopter’s left, so it’s necessary to use a small character to get through the doorway in the blue tent. In addition to the third raptor fossil, you also unlock the Dig Site Kid character.

Fossil Piece B

On the second ledge, there is a dark cave. This requires a character who has a source of light such as a flare. Use the light to enter the cave and find the fourth raptor fossil.
