Gold Brick Challenges

Help the T. Rex

The Spinosaurus is in a fight with a T. rex. While they are keeping each other occupied, you must try to get away from this clearing. Start off by helping Alan Grant. He is trapped between a couple logs. Pull him out.

The T. rex is not doing so well in the fight. Since the fight needs to keep going until your escape, help the T. rex. Switch to Alan and dig up a pile of dirt to find some bricks. Assemble them into a giant rubber ducky. Switch to Paul and throw his grappling hook at the orange attachment on a tree. This launches the ducky into the clearing and distracts the Spinosaurus.

Go to the right and then down into a gully. Assemble some bricks into a bridge and continue to the right. Take control of Udesky and pick up a small brick and use it to track some prints. Pick up the crank you find and put it on the small catapult.

Use Udesky’s rifle to shoot a target and knock a nest out of the tree. Reassemble the pieces on the catapult. Then move to the catapult and turn the crank. The release of the catapult gets stuck, so switch to Alan and use his raptor claw to cut through the rope and launch the nest at the Spinosaurus.

Move to the right and break the plants near a tree. Assemble the bricks into a lever on a large tree stump. Climb onto the stump and push the lever’s green side in a circle to pull back a tree; release it to hit the Spinosaurus.

You now take control of the T. rex. Press the onscreen buttons to attack the Spinosaurus and throw it to the ground. When the fight resumes, you again have control of the human characters. Run between the two large dinos to get to safety.

Challenges

Amber Brick

At the start, break up plants until you find some bricks that can be assembled into a nest. Then, after firing the catapult, find another plant to break into pieces for a nest just after jumping over a log. Once both nests are assembled, an Amber Brick appears. This one unlocks the Gallimimus.

Fossil Piece A

The Velociraptor is needed to get this fossil piece. Notice the scent cloud near the start. Use your Velociraptor to follow a series of scent clouds to find the fossil piece.

Fossil Piece B

Near the end of the level, find a large cracked rock. Charge the rock with a capable dinosaur to break it and retrieve this fossil piece.
