Gold Brick Challenges

Get to the Ground Floor

You have access to four different characters for this level. Take control of Alan Grant and drop onto another platform. Use the raptor claw to cut through a rope. As the platform drops, you jump across to a walkway.

Destroy the LEGO planter, switch to Ellie Sattler, and water the plant near a small door. The plant sprouts a vine, which secures the raptor. Now take control of Timmy and go through the small door. When you get to the other side, break all the objects to collect studs. Assemble the build-it pieces into a narrow bridge so other characters can get across.

Select either Lex or Ellie and walk to the pink circle. Carefully jump onto a narrow bridge along the top of a dinosaur skeleton. This is a tough jump. If you miss, you fall down and lose a lot of studs, so be sure to land on the bridge. Walk along the bridge to the left until a raptor jumps on and brings the skeleton crashing to the ground.

Defeat the Raptors

All of your characters are now on the ground. However, you have an ally against the raptors—the T. rex. You gain control of this dinosaur for fighting the raptors. Press the buttons that appear onscreen in the correct sequence. They are different each time, so pay close attention. With the correct button inputs, the T. rex throws the raptor and temporarily stuns it.

After the raptor is stunned for the first time, select Alan and move to the left. Use the raptor claw to cut another rope and drop a crate on the raptor’s head. Once this is done, you take control of the T. rex and fight the raptor again.

Stun the raptor. Then switch to Lex, move to the left, and throw a ball at the target on top of the scaffolding. This drops another object on the raptor. As the T. rex, defeat the raptor one more time to complete the level.

Challenges

Amber Brick

After Timmy builds the small bridge and brings the other character across, take control of Lex. Instead of jumping at the pink circle, walk to the gate on the left and press the Jump button to vault over it. Continue to the left and slide under the pink and teal barrier. Break the crate in this area to get the Amber Brick which unlocks the T. rex.

Fossil Piece A

Once you have the Amber Brick, use Lex’s scream ability to break the glass at the back of this area. After it shatters, move through the opening and to the right to collect this fossil piece.

Fossil Piece B

When on the ground floor, select a character with an electric rifle and shoot the blue target on the level’s far left. This drops a large crate which hits the ground and shatters, leaving behind the fossil piece.
