Link
You are Link, the hero of the game. Your job is to find all the Triforce fragments and save Princess Zelda.
Old Man
He lives in a cave. He gives Link weapons and information.
Old Woman
She lives in a cave and sells Link the Water of Life, but only if she is shown a certain item.
Merchant
He, too, is in a cave. He sells Link the Magical Shield, Arrows, and other valuable items.
Fairies
If you save a Fairy from an enemy, it refills your Heart Containers.
