Offensive Scouting Report
- QB Russell Wilson has proven his position as the leader of the Seahawks’ offense. Make sure you set a budget to keep him as long as you can.
- HB Thomas Rawls has taken the top spot as the number one back. He still needs a lot of work to be worthy of keeping his position, but unless you spend some time upgrading him, you may need to sign someone soon.
- The Seattle receiving corps is built around solid talent, but the true superstar is the newly acquired TE Jimmy Graham.
Defensive Scouting Report
- There are so many combinations to rush the passer for Seattle that it makes it nearly impossible for offensive teams to match up.
- Make sure that Bobby Wagner is anchoring the defense on every snap, and Ahtyaba Rubin should be in to rush anytime a pass is suspected.
- The Seattle defense is the perfect blend of size and speed to shut down all the playmakers in the NFC.
SCHEDULE
Key Players
- Wilson is an excellent passer from short to medium range, so focus on this when calling your plays for him and your scheme.
- Russell Wilson has great power, but it might be better used if thrown as a sharp pass over the top.
- If an opponent is looking to utilize the high-point throw, quickly shut them down with the 6’3” Sherman.
- Sherman is an amazing defender who can read plays quickly with his 90 Play Recognition.
- Groom Brooks to become a starting back as there is now a spot open for someone to step up and excel,.Why not make it the young rookie?
- Brooks’ Speed and Acceleration ratings are decent. Focus on upgrading his Carry rating and turn him into a fast back.
- There are many opportunities to see a new HB emerge as the main ball carrier, but don’t overlook guys like Michael because he has the skills to keep up.
- Calling the right play and getting Michael across the line will likely result in some major yardage.
