Offense
The Cowboys’ offensive playbook has a variety of formations that allow a balanced attack. Rather than a more explosive type, look for a safety valve TE who can run-block, and use him to keep the chains moving.
Key Formation
Gun Empty Trips TE is perfect if your offensive line can win the battle. The TE has some solid routes that allow him to get position on defenders for possession catches.

Defense
The Cowboys’ 4-3 defensive playbook is perfect for aggressive players who love to get eight defenders in the box and force their opponents to pass. Keep an eye out for any opposing receivers who need extra attention, and shade your safeties in that direction.
Key Formation
The 46 Bear is a unique formation that isn’t available in many playbooks. Make sure to try this as your base formation to stop the run, especially up the middle.
