Offensive Scouting Report

QB Eli Manning has been doing very well in a new offensive system. Look for him to build on it with the young talent surrounding him, and it should lead to more wins. Focus on quick passes to help out the offensive line and keep his completion percentage up.
The Giants got an excellent upgrade by signing HB Bobby Rainey in the offseason. Use him to really improve the running game and take advantage of the new ball-carrying mechanic.

Defensive Scouting Report

The Giants’ defensive line needs to develop some young talent this season. They can’t afford to let Jason Pierre-Paul change uniforms. Hopefully some of their signings will help them get after the passer, or else blitzing your LBs will be necessary.
LB Jon Beason has had a nice resurgence in New York, but he’s rarely at 100 percent due to injuries. The Giants need their free agent signings of Jason Pierre-Paul and Oliver Vernon to be a scheme fit for this unit to be effective.
The Giants picked up another great CB Eli Apple, which adds some strength to the secondary. Use Apple to hold the edge and take advantage of the zone defense.

Key Players

Despite his size, Beckham is the best in the NFL at going up and making spectacular catches.
Don’t forget to get him the ball on short routes across the middle so he can pick up yards after the catch.

DRC is one of our favorite players in the game with his blend of size and speed.
Get the most value out of him by not calling press.

Apple is quick and young, which makes his base talent great but improvable.
Apple excels in both man and zone coverage, making him a good scheme fit.

Will Tye has some great features and can play over the top very well. Use his Catching rating to gain yardage with the short pass.
