Offensive Scouting Report
- QB Andrew Luck is worth whatever it takes to keep him as the face of your franchise. His development over the early part of his career has him on track to become one of the all-time greats.
- HB Frank Gore has had great success with the Colts. Slowly building the team around him is promising for this season. Gore is a good stop-gap, but keep developing a long-term backup or look for one in the draft. It will be tough to run behind this line for any non-elite player.
- The Colts brought on HB Robert Turbin, who is an all around solid player, but needs some work in reading a play. His Awareness rating is not extremely high, but it isn’t bad. Work on developing the newcomers and the rookies to back up Gore this year.
Defensive Scouting Report
- ROLB Robert Mathis is still attempting to bounce back, and he will be instrumental with some of the recent improvements to the game this year. Trent Cole came in last year and really helped back up Mathis on the right side. Almost evenly matched now, the Colts defense will be solid on the right this season.
- The Colts defensive line does not have the necessary strength to take on multiple blockers and free up the LBs behind them. Give David Parry the start as his Awareness level will help you out with some of the gap play this season.
- The Colts’ secondary is getting better each season, but still needs a little work taking care of the run game. Allow Vontae Davis to continue to be the anchor, and help him out by upgrading a range safety to play on the other side.
SCHEDULE
Key Players
- Overall, Hilton is a solid WR that can do almost anything. This season the Colts have switched to a verticals offense and Hilton should see a lot of passes thrown to him.
- His speed is a true threat, but also having such a high Catching rating makes him very dangerous against any defense.

- Davis is one of the most physical corners in the league. Use his Press rating to throw off the timing of the QB/WR.
- Consider giving Darius Butler the start at CB #2 to allow Davis to play more man coverage.

- Although you may not run Green opposite T.Y. Hilton, he still has plenty of talent to showcase in the WR corps.
- Continue to build his Catching rating as much as possible and his speed will turn him into a double threat.

- Smith has high ratings in Speed, Acceleration, and Agility, which are all perfect. Boost his Awareness rating to round out his skill set.
- Smith is young and has plenty to learn. Consider this when upgrading his ratings to either round him out or have him excel even further in his skill areas.
