Offense
The Chargers have a pretty balanced playbook that allows them to be effective both by running and throwing the ball downfield. If you plan on using both options, make sure to get a QB who can get the ball into tight windows downfield to really take advantage.
Key Formation
Gun Trips Y-Flex Tight formation will consistently be a tough matchup for man coverage due to the tight alignment. A TE who can run crisp routes will deliver first downs all game long.

Defense
The Chargers have a solid 3-4 playbook that requires good strength from the defensive line, with fast finesse rushers at outside linebacker.
Key Formation
Big Dime 2-3-6 Will positions your secondary players in unique spots and can hopefully confuse the offense. Don’t sleep on a solid FS/SS combo!

Nearly all of the Chargers’ formations require a minimum of three linebackers, so don’t worry about overlap in the front seven.
