The Order: 1886 Signature Series Strategy Guide Walkthrough Chapter XI: BROTHERS IN ARMS

The Enemys Den

Watch the disturbing scene as Lord Hastings—or, as he calls himself, Jacob Van Neck—calls in Sir Lucan, and the fullest depth of the betrayal is revealed. Be ready for action! As the cutscene ends, Lucan nods toward Lakshmi, signaling Hastings’ imminent attack on the woman. Galahad shouts for her to run!

Use the right stick to move your targeting reticle over Lord Hastings and quickly press the button. Galahad flings his blade and hits Hastings, allowing Lakshmi to escape through the window.

Now Lucan attacks Galahad. Be ready with your controller again! In the struggle, the Knights smash through the nearby bannister and crash to the lower level. Lucan pins Galahad and rears back to strike him. Hit when the prompt appears: Galahad dodges the punch then draws Lucan’s blade and slashes him.

Wounded, Lucan retreats across the room and flees down the staircase (54). Follow his trail downstairs to find a big metal door. Open it to enter the United India House cellars.

Eliminate the Lycans

Time for another Lycan battle! You know the mechanics by now. You can find a Falchion rifle with its concussive blast secondary fire in the middle of the cellar (56). Other weapons are scattered about as well—two M85 assault rifle pickups (57,58) and two C81 automatic pistol pickups (59,60). With the Falchion, use to knock back attacking Lycans, wound them with primary fire, and then finish them off with your blade by pressing . After you kill three Lycans, you get a new directive.

Pursue Lucan

Work your way to the opposite corner (61) from where you entered the cellar and gun down the two Company guards stationed there. Hustle through the open cellar doorway and climb the stairs.

Upstairs, when you step through the doorway (62)into the main lobby, you trigger a scene: Lucan assaults Galahad and tries to slam his face into the stone railing.

  • Quickly press the button when the prompt appears to counter Lucan’s first attack. (If you mis-time your press, the face-slam is grisly.) Galahad kicks off the railing, draws his blade and runs it through his foe.
  • But Lucan’s strength is formidable, and his inner nature suddenly bursts forth. Quickly press the button when the prompt appears. Galahad manages to avoid death, but not by much.

Now watch the chapter’s sad final scene play out. The arrival of Galahad’s Knight compatriots sends Lucan scurrying up a nearby pillar to escape. But Igraine and Lafayette are not here to assist Galahad. When Lord Hastings appears with his guards and levels accusations, Igraine is of a mind to believe him.
