Nailing the second guard triggers a cutscene. Lakshmi greets her gallant knight and reports that her lieutentants Devi and Finley are with her. Galahad lays out the plan: meet up with Lucan inside and proceed to the Company archives room to seek evidence. The two new allies then push forward into the entrance courtyard.
Infiltrate the United India House
Start working your way across the entrance courtyard, using your crossbow for a stealthy kill on the lone patrolling guard who remains. Find the storage room down the stairs and inspect the Ceylon Tea tin (25) sitting on the tool-covered worktable.
Push forward past the fountain in the central plaza to where Lakshmi meets up with her team, Devi and Finley, next to a stagecoach (26)sitting in the drive. Take your place next to Lakshmi behind the coach and use your left stick to push it next to the balcony. After the coach is in place, watch the cutscene; an interesting dynamic is forming amongst the team.
Climb atop the coach and follow Lakshmi and Finley up onto the balcony (27). Unfortunately, a guard there manages to call out an intruder alert. Pick up his M82 Carbine and take cover at the balcony railing. Soon Company guards start pouring through the front gates below. Start gunning them down! This is a good place to use Blacksight as guards swarm around the fountain in the courtyard. If you need more ammo, grab it from the M82 Carbine pickup (28) next to the crate on the balcony.
Once you clear the courtyard below, Galahad calls out, “Let’s get inside before more guards arrive.” Finley opens the balcony windows (29) for you, so climb inside.
Upper Floor
Guards are rushing into position inside now, so be ready for a hornet’s nest of Company men. Grab the smoke grenade pickup (30) and toss it upstairs ahead of you, then rush in behind it using Blacksight if you can to clear the room. When you get upstairs, watch out for Coach Guns on both sides of the room. Consider picking up a dropped Coach Gun and using it yourself in these tight interior spaces.
When you get low on bullets, tap into the ammo crate (31) sitting on the cabinet next to the bannister on the right side. Further along that side you also find some useful frag grenades (32). Toss them downstairs before you descend the staircase (33) to the lower floor.
Lower Floor
Downstairs, look for the “News From the East Indies” phonograph cylinder (34) sitting on the big credenza next to the phonograph player. Then approach the door with a power box (35), press the prompt to pry off the cover, and use the TS-27 Inverter/Rectifier to blow the circuit and open the door.
Inside you find a weapons locker with grenades, and ammo crate and a Falchion rifle. Grab those things and inspect the amusing “Statement as to Death” (36) that reports the demise of one “Rani (Queen) of Jhansi.” Exit the weapons locker and open the door (37) where Lakshmi and Finley wait for you to trigger a cutscene.
