Overview

In Supremacy, the name says it all: the goal of this game mode is to show which team can dominate the other by pushing opponents all the way back to their own ship. Each match begins with a single neutral control point in the centermost position of each map that is completely up for grabs. The first challenge for each team is to take this control point. Once the center control point is taken, the opposing team is pushed back, and the next control point becomes available for capture. At this point, the game is similar to tug-of-war because there can only be one available control point for each team. Once you capture a forward control point from your adversary, a friendly control point becomes locked. After a team captures a control point, there is a short “push forward” period that gives each team a chance to move to the next area of the map and capture the next point. During this time, all the pick-ups disappear, only to reappear in the new area. To claim your victory, push the enemy back to their own ship and control every point on the battlefield.

Supremacy Tactics

Because Supremacy only takes place on the larger sections of each planet, use the blasters with mid- to long-range capabilities, such as the T-21. Being able to defend your team’s control point from a distance gives you a better scope of the rest of the battlefield while you can remain out of sight.

Equipping the Jump Pack Star Card grants you incredible mobility and allows you to return to your active control point before your opponent has the chance to fully take it. The Jump Pack also gives you the ability to immediately get back in the fight, preventing the opposing team from moving in on your territory if you are killed across enemy lines.

Drop Infantry Turrets on your friendly control point to slow the enemy’s advance on your territory, giving you and your squad a chance to get back and save the point. Don’t rely on the Infantry Turret to protect the control point completely, as it is very limited. Instead, use it as an aid for buying you a little more time.

Communicate with your teammates to let them know when either point is being taken. This can mean the difference between the movement of the battle zone. If your team calls out any enemies near your control point, but you happen to be located near your foes’ point, do everything you can to get inside. If adversaries are capturing your control point, it will not matter if you capture theirs first.
