Collectibles
Inside the hangar, get on top of the Imperial shuttle, either by using a Jump Pack or the nearby steps. Just inside the right wing is a collectible.
As you look at the hangar, move to the far left side. A collectible rests against the uppermost cliff, on the same level as the hangar.
As you look at the hangar doorway, go right past a big tank, and search on the far side of the last concrete pillar.
Find a collectible resting on the rock plateau near the metal pedestrian bridge.
You must use a Jump Pack to reach this one, floating high above a lava pit to the right of the vehicle bridges. Aim your jump well so that you do not end up in the lava.
The planet of Sullust is comprised of sheets of lava rock, separated by narrow valleys and streams of hot lava. The map is made up of various levels that lead up to a big hangar containing an Imperial shuttle. Bridges and steps connect many of the tiers.
The Sullust Star Card options both include the Jump Pack, which is required to reach one of the collectibles. This also allows for easier movement around the planet’s multi-leveled, rocky surface. Picking a preset comes down to preference. The Cycler Rifle gives you an occasional one-hit kill, shield-penetrating shot, while Focus Fire gives you improved accuracy—great when fighting distant foes from the upper cliff. The Ion Torpedo is the best option for dealing with the TIE fighters and can also be devastating against the AT-STs.
Much of the map sits below the hangar level, so the upper cliff has a nice vantage point. Find cover and pick off enemies as they stream in across the vehicle bridges. Troopers can hide from your sights by moving behind the rocky cliffs. When traversing the rocky terrain below, scan the area carefully; much of the location is extremely vulnerable to enemy fire.
A river of lava flows around the side and bottom of the map. If you fall in, the red-hot lava quickly eats away at your health. Immediately use your Jump Pack to boost out of there, or get ready to spend a life to return to the game.
An E-Web blaster sits at the back of the hangar and is relatively safe from vehicles. This gives you a nice location from which to mow down any infantry members that enter the building. However, be aware that you are fairly vulnerable from the sides. Scan the radar occasionally to spot incoming foes.
Unique to Sullust, TIE fighters patrol the skies above. Their familiar sound warns of incoming strafing runs. Any Ion weapon can damage the flying vehicle, but it can be tough to hit, unless you use the Ion Torpedo with the ability to lock on to its target.
Two turbolasers sit just outside the Imperial hangar. These anti-vehicle turrets work extremely well against AT-STs and TIE fighters. Aim just ahead of the speedy star fighter to hit it as it soars across the sky. This is a much easier target because it flies directly away from or toward the turret. The high-powered laser cannon does overheat, so watch the meter just below the reticle. While it can take quite a bit of abuse, it can also be destroyed. Take control of one, and its health bar displays in place of your own.
