The fast-paced action here involves three moving objectives: droids. Interact with a droid to begin the capture process, and then defend your droid to prevent the enemy from stealing it back.

Defend the droids as they are being claimed.
The side that claims all three droids wins.
Overview
Droid Run is a balance between greed and tactics. To win a Droid Run match, you must claim all three droids. Greed can be a virtue, encouraging you to take risks in order to win, but it can also cost you the match if you are not careful. The three droids are located fairly symmetrically around the map, and it takes a good amount of communication and an aggressive attitude to finish the match with a victory. All three droids roam around a very specific location, but you must remember that they still roam. This can place them in very different strategic areas depending on where they have wandered.
Droid Run Tactics
The droids roam around the area where they are located, which can be both good and bad for you as you try to defend or capture them. There are times when they will be in more cover than normal, which are usually the best times to take them. However, this isn’t the best way to take them if you have to wait for it.
Be greedy, but be smart about it. Sometimes going after that last droid could mean the win for your team. If you have a strong suspicion that the enemy is not anywhere near capturing either of your other droids, you might as well go for it. The worst that could happen is that you get killed and redeploy closer to your friendly droids.
Using the Star Card Jump Pack allows you ultimate mobility. As long as you have Jump Pack available, you can attack your opponent or unclaimed droids without fear of returning to your droids in time. The Jump Pack will not get you all the way back to your friendly droid if you are directly next to another one, but you can still close a great distance with the Jump Pack. Another Jump Pack tactic on Droid Run is using it to get a vantage point on the battlefield. This makes it easier for you to call out enemy movements to your teammates and help to protect your already claimed droids.
After a droid has been captured, it can be captured right back just as easily. This can hinder your progress if you are being greedy and pursuing the other droids. Beware of this situation, and make sure that if you are going to get greedy, your team is there to back you up.
