Collectibles

The first collectible hangs in the air, high above the huts where the mission begins. Get onto the second level of the cliffs on the left, and turn around. Boost off the rock, using the Jump Pack to reach it.

You can see the second collectible from the beginning of the mission. High up in the air, it floats near the rock formation straight ahead from the starting point. To reach it, climb or jump onto the upper cliff on the other side of the collectible, and then use the Jump Pack to nab it.

Look for the tower with lines connected to the top. Hovering just above is the third collectible. Use your Jump Pack from the nearby cliff to score the item.

Find the high point on the far side of the map from the mission start, where tattered pieces of fabric hang from long lines of rope. Floating high above the low area between this point and the map boundary is another collectible. Fire the Jump Pack off the cliff toward the item to get it. Be careful that you do not fly off the map, or else you must wait for your Jump Pack to recharge so that you can get back up.

Head toward the Imperial shuttle, but instead of climbing up toward it, follow the middle path into a shallow cave. The final collectible is tucked tightly into the right corner.

After crash-landing in the rocky terrain of Tatooine, there isn’t much time to get your bearings, because Imperial forces are hot on the trail of the Rebels. A rescue operation is incoming, but you must hold off the enemy until help arrives. You start out near an abandoned camp at the bottom of a deep canyon, surrounded by high cliffs.

Both Star Card preset options contain the Jump Pack, which is very useful when traversing the steep cliffs of Tatooine. It is also essential when you’re hunting collectibles, since four of the five items float high in the air. Annihilator is best against vehicles. The Ion Torpedo allows for locking on to an AT-ST across the long distances of the canyon floor, and the Personal Shield keeps you safe from blaster fire while using the Ion weapon. Raider also gives an anti-vehicle option with the Ion Shot, pairing it up with Barrage, which is powerful against groups of infantry. Choosing your loadout comes down to preference.

There are a few semi-protected spots around the map. A shallow cave located below the parked Imperial shuttle offers fortification most of the way around, but escaping trouble is tough. A camp located at the far end from the mission start gives a nice vantage point with relative security. The canyon floor is extremely vulnerable from the cliffs above, so move quickly when this is your path of choice. Use this to your advantage when Imperial forces are located down below.

When moving around the high cliffs, be aware of the big drop-offs around the map boundary. If you end up falling off the side, it can be tough to get out, though the Jump Pack does make this possible. You have 10 seconds to get back into play. Stay calm, step back from the wall, and boost yourself back up with the Jump Pack. However, if you fall too far down, you must wait to be brought back, using one of your precious lives to do so.

Enemies equipped with long-range weapons, such as the scout troopers and stormtroopers with rockets, can be dangerous with the long sight lines in the canyon. Stay aware of your adversaries’ locations, and quickly duck around a wall to avoid taking unnecessary damage. You can also use the cliff sides as cover, but be careful of flanking foes.
