Waypoint 8
Climb over the windowsill by the dead guard and drop down into the culvert that runs along the street. Crouch and follow this culvert downstream until it becomes flooded. Stand up and wade through the waters until you reach the dry ramp leading up to the building’s corner.
Waypoint 9
At the building corner, drop prone and watch for movement up on the billboard in the distance. A single guard patrols the billboard’s catwalk. When he pauses at the corner to the right, zoom in for a headshot and pull the trigger.
Waypoint 10
Take the steps under the billboard and sneak toward the courtyard in front of the library. There are far too many enemies to fight through this courtyard; you must use stealth and go around. Stay in a crouch and slip through the concrete dividers and veer to the left of the broken brick wall.
Cut through the hole in the side of the building and look for a second hole in the building’s back corner.
Waypoint 11
Continue to stay hidden and take the side yard beside the house. Climb the back wall and go prone as soon as you clamber up. Wiggle along the perimeter until you can see the many guards milling about the heavily patrolled courtyard.
Waypoint 12
You have to time your crawl perfectly through the next series of guards. Wait until the patrols have dispersed around the courtyard and then crawl down the ramp and through the brush toward the first truck. Pass behind the two guards looking out into the courtyard.
Stop under the second truck. The way may seem clear, but as you wait a guard steps out from the vehicle’s passenger side.
If you continue crawling he will spot you; however, if you wait a few seconds, the guard will turn around and walk out into the courtyard, leaving the way free once again for you to crawl under the third truck.
Waypoint 13
Press forward, staying as low to the ground as you can to avoid enemy attention. Crawl under the twisted girders and behind another pair of guards talking in the courtyard.
Hug the brick wall behind the second guard pair and you’ll see a metal staircase at the corner of the courtyard. A single guard stands with his back to you, but as you approach he will walk farther out on the landing.
This guard likes to move around, and he can spot you easily once you climb the stairs. You either have to be super stealthy to sneak up behind him, or quickly shoot him from the top of the stairs before he raises the alarm.
Waypoint 14
The final two guards patrol the rubble in front of the library entrance. They are chatting with each other as you approach. Drop prone and sight on them.
Wait for them to break apart. The first guard stands in position, while the second patrols in the back lot. As soon as the second guard disappears from sight, cap the first guard.
The second guard will return in a few seconds, and you have a clear shot at him as he walks toward you. Finish him off before he spots the first body.
Act 2: Secret 10
The second secret for the mission lies on a bookshelf in the entrance hall to the library. However, it’s not as easy as walking over and picking it up off the shelf.
Unless you want to get shot in the back, you must first eliminate the first two snipers in the building across the street.
The third sniper can’t hit you from his position, but the first two can, so snipe them before scooping up the film reel.
