This is a short but potentially brutal chapter given the nature of the environment you’re travelling through: a marketplace filled with interconnected paths and alleys, with lots of blind corners for potential ambushes. The first alley you reach continues straight until it hits the wall of the market, with a number of small alleys you can use to travel deeper into the market to reach the exit. Among the first group of enemies, you’ll encounter Stabbers. These crazed enemies run at you as fast as they can in hopes of burying their knives inside your skull plate.

The interconnected alleys make for a very fluid combat environment which demands that you constantly check your flanks as you advance. Depending on how you decide to advance through the market, you can find yourself flanked very quickly—especially if you’re carelessly sprinting through the area. A good rule of thumb is to stick to the far sides of the market as much as is possible in order to limit the directions enemies can attack you from. The thugs tend to rush out from the central alleyways . If you’re playing with a friend, you can easily turn the market against the cartel, setting up lethal crossfire by advancing down separate alleys, killing anything caught between the two of you.

The area near the market exit can be a bit tricky if your enemies have managed to slip away from you in significant numbers. There are a lot of small pieces of scenery which can potentially hide opportunistic gunmen. Sweep through this area carefully and make your way to the exit.
