Sleeping Dogs eGuide Walkthrough Main Story Walkthrough

Stick Up and Delivery

The drive to the warehouse should be fairly uneventful, barring any accidents on your behalf. Once you get close to the target, Jackie has you put on a mask to avoid being identified as one of Winston’s men.

There are five thugs outside of the warehouse, and Wei immediately challenges them upon stepping out of Jackie’s stolen van. A number of environmental hazards are in the area to help thin out the group faster, as well as help build up some Triad points.

After the first group is thrashed, more come running over to see what all the shouting is about. One of the first three thugs in this group comes armed with a lead pipe. While you’re dealing with these reinforcements, three more thugs will eventually join in, armed with knives. Remember to avoid Grappling the armed enemies, as they hurt you when they break free of the Grab.

After putting down any resistance, a black van bursts out of the warehouse, carrying the stolen goods. Wei climbs back into Jackie’s van to give chase.

You need to stay close to the van as much as possible, but it’s not your only concern. Sports cars driven by rival Triad members will close in on you, intent on helping the van escape. You’ll need to use Ram Attacks to disable those cars while maintaining pursuit of the van.

After beating back several waves of escort cars, the van is left defenseless. Keep up your speed to get close to the van and use Ram Attacks to disable it. Jackie excitedly breaks into the van cargo for his big payday, but as you drive off from the heist, it turns out that the Cambria watches he thinks he has are all fakes. Drive towards the Top Glamour waypoint.

The HKPD decide to finally intervene after this car chase has left a half dozen (or more) vehicles in flames on the roadside. You need to lose the cops by any means short of ditching your own van to do so. You cannot bring the police to Top Glamour or you will fail the mission. The van, as you know by now, handles about as well as an elephant on roller skates, so there’s no way you’re going to outrun the cops. Even taking big jumps is risky, as there’s a better chance of you flipping the van over. Stick with Ram Attacks to convince them to leave you alone.

Once the Heat has been forcibly cooled off, get to Top Glamour without arousing any additional suspicion. You’ll learn a little more about the situation with Dogeyes during the ride. Despite the ultimately disappointing haul, Jackie is grateful to Wei, offering him one of the watches. The cash reward for completing the mission is also fairly substantial. But the really good news is that you now have access to additional side jobs from Jackie’s uncle, Tran. The cars he wants you to steal are a good way to boost your cash flow and your Face level, particularly this early in the game.
